Letterpress Lead Printing for my prototype

For my book cover prototype print, I choose a small lead font called 8pt Petit Post Versalien

After choosing the font, I proceed to set up the 8 point size letters which takes a lot of concentration and care

Then, I start to set up the printing press and to lock the type into place

I proceed to pick two colours that will achieve the style that I’m looking for – black and silver

Printing small letters onto small paper takes more time than printing big letters onto bigger paper (i.e. poster size)
